ENFP

I am an ENFP. The test shows that ENFP's are warm, enthusiastic people who are very bright and full of potenital. We are very passionate and excited about the things we like. We can inspire others. We can talk our way out of anything and we love life, living it to the fullest.

We are good at things we are interested in and we have a broad range of skills. Others may view us as directionless and without purpose but we really do have strong values and morals.

We have great people skills. We are typically well like and bring out the best in others.

We live in a world of exciting possibilities. We hate detailed and maintenance tasks when they do not concern us. When we do perform these tasks, we are dreaded. We are challenging and we frustrate our family members.

An ENFP who has gone wrong can be very manipulative and good at it.

Go to your blog and write the last message of the year. I want you to go back and read through what you have written from the beginning. Then, write about how you feel about your first year in high school, and whether you changed since last September. Also, write about what you look forward to next year. By the way, I really encourage you to continue writing in your blog even though you’re not taking my class anymore. It’s a great way to record your life, and maybe some day you’ll turn your blog into a movie.

In September I was so much different. I used to look forward to going to school and I actually did my work. Now I look at my grades and well ... they suck! I really wish I would've done better this year. I read my first blog and I was the most random person talking about who I like and stuff. Half of that has changed because I can't stand my old best friend Missy and now my best friends are Alex, Lilly, Katherine, Jessica and Sara. I had some fun times this year like having FAKE riots and tackling people on the grass. Next year I look forward to teaching all the younger teens how to handle situations and stuff. Plus, I'll have all my friends again!!!

Vista L.A.

I was really supried by the fact that the media took the time to notice something positive instead of negative. I appreciate that when people ask me what school i go to I can say Animo Venice. LAUSD is now implementing small schools into their structure and by eight years they should have more small schools. I think that is great and I'm sure more teenagers will succeed in life. The report basically talked about te great impact small schools have on teenagers these days. I learned that some of the other schools don't have a lot of teams like I though they did. I guess all that will come with time. I personally wish the school had more things but i'm willing to sacrafice because this school will get me into college.

Mr. Barr

a. What did Mr. Barr talk about?

Mr. Barr talked about how he would work with us in order to start things at this school. He said we have to wear uniforms so that everyone is equal. He wanted us to know that we could start teams and work with MR. CHang ot make this school better.

b. What did you find the most interesting? Why?

The story he tokd about his mom buying him the bootleg adidas and also the part about his brother dying since he was into drugs.

c. What do you think about Mr. Barr?

I thought he was cool. He was very open and gave a legitamite answer to all the questions that were asked.

d. What did Mr. Barr teach you about leadership and making change in your life? In this school? In this community? In this world?

He said that this school would in fact become a part of this community and in this world. This is one of the 5 model schools and that is a huge responsibility.

QUESTIONS:

1) Do you think the author really fell into holes in the sidwalk? What do you think the "holes" in this poem are a methaphor for? What kinds of "holes" have you fallen into in your life?

The Holes represent allt he things that sidetrack us from succeeding in life. Ihave fallen into the hole of not doing homwork because I am broed with it so I decide not to do it. It is truly stupid and I am trying to catch up now.

2) When I first read this poem, I thought of what's happening to your grades. Some of you seem to be stuck in hole #2: your grades go down; you pretend you don't see it; you have "F"s again; you can't believe you're in the same place; you say it isn't your fault; it takes you forever to get out or you don't get out at all. Which hole are you in right now? Why do you think so?

In my situation I went from a 3.7 to a 1.9. That to me is ridiculous and I really need to get it up. I've gotten straight A's my whole life and now I'm slipping. I really am bored out of my mind.

3) In terms of your grades, what do you have to do to reach step V and not fall into the hole of letting your grades drop? If you have already reached step V, how did you get there; and what advice can you give to the students who are stilling falling into "holes"?

I need to focus on my work and put that as my first priority. My biggest problem is I get bored way too easily and then I want to work on something new, forgetting about what I have to do at that moment. I really need to choose between having fun and being responsible.

Luis & Chris

a. What do you think about the incident with Luis and Chris?

I feel that it was a stupid mistake on their part and they deserved a consequence. I do think it should have just been suspension. I was at the meeting and they were truly sorry and honestly wanted to come back.

b. What do you think about the decision that was made about Luis and Chris?

I feel that it was too harsh but there was nothing we could do because it is State Laws that say they can no longer attend the school. I along with the other ASB members tried out hardest to make a difference.

c. What do you think about yesterday’s student assembly?

Many of the students were so disrespectful and as I was up there I got frustrated as well as Kaya because so one was listening, everyone was having side conversations and being rude to a sincere peer. I was frustrated too.

d. What do you think could be done differently in the future?

Students and teachers can get along and respect eachother so there won't be assemblies like that any more.

1) What is a leader? What is the difference between a good leader and a bad leader?

A leader is a person who is not afraid to be themselves and stand up for what thye feel is right. A good leader is someone who uses their talents to woo in followers to do positive things for our society. A bad leader would be someone who sets up goals that better themselves or it hurts other people.

2) When and where have you been a leader? Describe the moment you were a leader.

One time when all my friends were going to get high I told them that I wasn't going to because it was dumb and I could have fun without that. Then I got 2 people not to do it and they haven't since that day.

3) In your life, who do you consider a leader? Why?

I consider my mom to be a leader because she is hardworking and even though I don't act like it, I look upto her. She is smart, crazy, and responsible and she tries to lead me to have a prosperous life.
